Dr. Foyouzi won’t gloss any part of your history over: on a case-by-case basis, she may suggest different plans based on semen analysis, ovulation, ovarian reserve, previous pregnancies, age, and other relevant findings. She may also leverage her medical genetics background when a family history, recurrent pregnancy loss (more than two), carrier status, or another finding gives her a reason to look deeper.

• IVF can be a good fit when previous treatment hasn’t worked, age is a factor, or a diagnosis calls for more control over fertilization and embryo development.
• Egg freezing lets you save your eggs for possible use later. Our egg calculator gives you a great starting point for thinking about timing and how many eggs you may want to freeze.
• IUI is a good earlier option for certain diagnoses, donor-sperm cycles, or plans where IVF may be “too much, too soon.”

• Genetic testing can give patients answers to hard questions about inherited conditions, carrier status, recurring miscarriages, or other gene-deep findings. If your situation calls for testing, Dr. Foyouzi reviews the results herself and explains what they mean for your options.

When you walk through the door at SCFC, the first order of business will be a one-on-one consultation with Dr. Foyouzi.

Here’s what that looks like:

Initial chat with Dr. Foyouzi: She goes through your medical and reproductive history, previous treatment, existing results, and will point out any areas that still don’t quite add up.

Thorough diagnostics: We use the records and testing you bring to the table. If the Doctor finds it necessary, she’ll add hormone labs, ultrasound imaging, semen analysis, genetic evaluation, or any additional testing.

Mapping out your treatment: Dr. Foyouzi explains her recommendations and the rationale behind them. She may suggest IUI, IVF, fertility preservation, genetic services, or a combined treatment.

Treatment and follow-up: We guide you through medications, appointments, monitoring, and procedures. Dr. Foyouzi will review your response and will tweak or change the procedures if necessary.
