What happens at your consultation?
Your first visit is a conversation, not a procedure. Here's exactly what to expect, step by step.
1. Welcome & Check-In
From the moment you walk in, our front desk team will greet you by name, get you checked in, and introduce you to the staff who will be with you throughout your journey. We want you to feel at home before your appointment even begins.
2. Get Comfortable
We know walking into a fertility clinic for the first time can feel overwhelming. Before you meet your physician, your care coordinator will sit with you, walk you through what to expect, and make sure you have everything you need, including answers to any early questions.
3. Meet Dr. Foyouzi
Spend quality, unhurried time with Dr. Foyouzi, our board-certified fertility specialist. This is your time to share your history, your goals, and your concerns. Our goal is to truly listen, making sure you feel heard, understood, and confident in your care from the very first conversation.
4. Same-Day Testing
Where appropriate, we perform a baseline ultrasound and bloodwork right at your first visit. You leave with real information, not a follow-up appointment just to get answers.
5. Review Financing & Insurance
Before you leave, our financial counselor will walk you through your insurance benefits, out-of-pocket costs, and any financing options available to you. We believe cost should never be a mystery or a barrier.

How to prepare for your visit

I highly recommend visiting Southern California Fertility Center (SCFC) if you or your partner are struggling with infertility. Dr. Foyouzi is truly an expert in the field and highly educated. She was easy to speak to, she took time to explain everything from fertility treatments, to procedures, and medications needed to achieve a healthy pregnancy to us. My husband and I were trying for over 5 years before seeing Dr. Foyouzi to get pregnant. With her guidance, we selected the best fertility treatment option for us and within a few months I was pregnant. We delivered a healthy baby last year.
